Role Description
We are looking for experienced Mid-Level to Senior-Level Data Engineers with strong expertise in Informatica, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Looker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and supporting enterprise data transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Work extensively with Informatica for data integration and transformation
- Build and manage cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security standards are maintained
- Optimize data workflows and pipeline performance
- Support data migration, warehousing, and analytics initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Qualification
- Experience in the Insurance domain is highly preferred
- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Implement data validation, transformation, and quality checks
- Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, analysts, architects)
- Maintain clear documentation for pipelines and data workflows
Must Have
- Exposure to cloud-based data modernization projects
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration and automation
- Hands-on experience with batch and streaming data systems
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable data systems
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake
- Familiarity with Kafka and real-time data streaming
- Experience with data quality frameworks and governance
- Understanding of data lineage, partitioning, and incremental models
- Experience working in Agile environments
