Role Description
This is a full-time remote role at Techwaresoft. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in AWS Network Architecture and Terraform, combined with strong hands-on experience in routing, switching, and firewall technologies.Develop and support reliable cloud and hybrid network solutions. Connect AWS services with enterprise networks while ensuring security, scalability, and high availability through automation.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS network architecture and hybrid connectivity
- Hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- Proven experience managing cloud and on-prem network environments
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting
- Experience troubleshooting complex network and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation practices
- Ability to document architectures and maintain network diagrams
Responsibilities
- Design AWS network architectures (Hub-Spoke, Landing Zone, Shared Services)
- Implement VPC design, segmentation, routing, and Transit Gateway connectivity)
- Automating network infrastructure using Terraform
- Implement firewall policies and network security controls
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance
Must Have
- Strong AWS networking expertise (VPC, Transit Gateway, routing, segmentation)
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Routing & switching expertise (BGP, VLANs, Layer 2/3)
- Firewall & network security implementation experience
- Experience troubleshooting hybrid cloud network environments
Nice to have
- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification
- Experience with Control Tower & Landing Zone architectures
- Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or Check Point firewalls
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and defense-in-depth security models
- Familiarity with IPv6 and CI/CD networking automation
