Role Description
We are looking for a Scrum Master to drive delivery and coordination across our engineering teams building a conversational AI assistant. The role focuses on facilitating agile processes, removing blockers, and ensuring smooth collaboration between iOS, backend, AI, and infrastructure teams in a fast-moving remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Remove blockers and manage dependencies across engineering teams
- Track sprint progress, velocity, and delivery metrics to identify risks early
- Work with product and engineering leads to prioritize and scope work effectively
- Promote async-first collaboration and maintain clear documentation
- Improve team processes by identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements
- Maintain project tracking tools and ensure tickets are well defined and updated
- Coordinate releases and ensure smooth handoffs between development, QA, and deployment
Qualification
- 4–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or delivery lead in software teams
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and agile methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills in distributed teams
Must Have
- Experience managing agile delivery for software development teams
- Strong ability to remove blockers and coordinate across multiple workstreams
- Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar
- Data-driven approach using delivery metrics such as velocity and cycle time
- Comfortable working in remote, async-first environments
Nice to have
- CSM, PSM, or similar Agile certification
- Experience working in startup or product-led environments
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple time zones
- Technical familiarity with development workflows (CI/CD, pull requests, branching)
- Exposure to AI/ML product development cycles
