Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be a key driver in transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide strategic business decisions. You will work with complex datasets, develop sophisticated data models, and create compelling visualizations to empower stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate is a data storyteller with an expert command of SQL and leading BI platforms, who is passionate about leveraging data to solve challenging business problems.
Contract: 2 Months (Extendable)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 10am - 7pm PKT
Responsibilities
- BI Development: Build dashboards, reports, and analytical models using Power BI, Tableau, Looker
- Data & SQL: Perform ETL, write optimized SQL, and design scalable data models (e.g., star schema)
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver insights across teams
- Analysis: Identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and best practices
- Mentorship: Guide junior analysts and promote data literacy
Qualification
- Strong foundation in data analytics and business intelligence concepts
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Understanding of data modeling and analytical workflows
- Experience working in enterprise or government-level data environments.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must Have
- 4+ years experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics role
- Expert-level SQL (CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
- Experience integrating Teradata with Hadoop (Hive/HDFS) using QueryGrid
- Strong data modeling and schema design experience
- Analytical mindset with ability to solve ambiguous business problems
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Power BI, Data Factory, OneLake)
- Programming skills in Python or R
- Experience using AI features within BI tools for insights
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and predictive analytics
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse)
