Role Description
This is a full-time remote role at Techwaresoft. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will own and enhance our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, security posture, and operational reliability. You will ensure our multi-service backend architecture (containerized and automated) is production-grade, scalable, secure, and continuously optimized. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, container security, monitoring, and cloud operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 4–5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Security Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
- Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage) on at least one major cloud provider
- Experience with Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Strong understanding of security best practices, OWASP standards, and secure software delivery
Responsibilities
- Manage and extend deployment tooling (Docker, Ansible, automation scripts, service orchestration)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend, AI, and mobile services
- Implement infrastructure security including secrets management, container hardening, and vulnerability scanning
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability and fast incident response
- Oversee cloud infrastructure, scaling, load balancing, and resource optimization
Must Have
- 4–5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Security Engineering
- Strong expertise in Docker and containerized deployments
- Hands-on experience with Ansible (or similar) and CI/CD pipeline design
- Solid understanding of infrastructure security, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
- Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting and experience with at least one major cloud provider
Nice to have
- Experience securing AI/ML service deployments
- Familiarity with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks
- Experience with real-time infrastructure (WebSocket, WebRTC, LiveKit)
- Knowledge of Nginx, PostgreSQL optimization, and Linux performance tuning
